Sports Regulations

The sports regulations allow the normal conduct of the race, taking care of "Fair Play": everyone does their part to make the environment calm and comfortable, regardless of each driver's level.

eyJpdCI6IiJ9

1. Competition methods

1.1.   Team race where a maximum of 24 teams are allowed and individual race where a maximum of 72 competitors are allowed.

1.2.
In the team race, each team will be composed of 3 competitors.

1.3.
Each driver can register for both races or just one of them. For logistical and organizational reasons, once registration is completed it is not possible to change your choice.

1.4.  The Gruppo C Slot.it race will consist of a rotation on both tracks for each team, for a total duration of 3 hours. The winner will be awarded the title of Coppa Italia Slot® Slot.it Champion.

1.5.
The GT3 NSR race will consist of elimination heats and a final, where the top 6 drivers will compete. The winner will be awarded the title of Coppa Italia Slot® NSR Champion.

2. Titles at stake

2.1. The title of Absolute Champion Coppa Italia Slot® will be awarded to the driver who has obtained the highest overall score in both races held.

2.2.   The title of Club Champion Coppa Italia Slot® will be awarded to the club that has obtained the highest overall score in both races held. Only the top 3 classified for each club earn points for this ranking.

2.3.   The title of Under 18 Champion Coppa Italia Slot® will be awarded to the underage driver who has obtained the highest overall score in both races held.

2.4.   The title of Female Champion Coppa Italia Slot® will be awarded to the female driver who has obtained the highest overall score in both races held.

2.5.   The title of Rookies Champion Coppa Italia Slot® will be awarded to the best independent driver who has never raced in a national event nor is part of a club, and who has obtained the highest overall score in both races held.

3. Behavior

3.1. All participants are invited to show the utmost sportsmanship for the entire duration of the event, even outside the competition venue.

3.2. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the area.

3.3. Any unsportsmanlike behavior will be sanctioned.

3.4.
Upon request to the race director, it will be possible to delegate your turn as marshal to another driver or mechanic, in any case to a competent person, in the event of unavoidable personal or mechanical needs. If the person designated in place of the main driver does not cover the marshal position or commits other infractions contemplated in these regulations, all of these will be charged to the main driver and/or team.

4. Free practice - Group C Slot.it

4.1. The participating teams will be randomly divided into 4 groups. Groups 1 and 2 will carry out free practice on Track 1, while groups 3 and 4 will practice on Track 2. At the end of the first half of practice, the 4 groups will switch the track on which they practice (1 and 2 on Track 2, 3 and 4 on Track 1).

4.2.
Teams will have 5 minutes available on each individual lane. The members of each team will therefore be free to manage their own driving turns, always covering the marshal's station.

4.3.
It is not possible to repeat a lane already completed on the same track.

4.4. If the marshal's station is left unattended, the team will incur a WARNING. Upon the second infraction, a penalty of 5 LAPS will be imposed at the end of the race. In case of repeated offenses, another 5 LAPS will be added for each turn without a marshal from that team.

5. Free practice - GT3 NSR

5.1.   The drivers will be divided into 6 groups randomly. Group 1 will carry out tests on Track 1 with group 5 acting as marshals for them, while group 2 will carry out tests on Track 2 with group 6 retrieving the cars. At the end of the 2 rotations, group 4 will go on Track 1 and group 3 will go on Track 2, with groups 2 and 1 acting as marshals for them, and so on until the end of the free practice.

5.2.   At the end of each rotation, each competitor must MANDATORILY follow one marshaling session for its entire duration.

5.3.   It is not possible to repeat a lane already used on the same track.

5.4.   During free practice, each driver must MANDATORILY and IMMEDIATELY carry out their marshaling rotation.

5.5.   If point 5.4 is not respected, the driver will incur a WARNING. On the second infraction, a penalty of 5 LAPS will be imposed at the end of the race. In case of recurrence, a further 5 LAPS will be added for each missed turn.

6. Technical checks

6.1. The inspection will be carried out in two distinct phases:
6.1.1.First phase - inspection of the car's measurements and weights.
6.1.2.Second phase - the participant will assemble the engine and tires provided in front of an inspector. The engine provided will already be sealed.

6.2. To guarantee absolute impartiality in technical inspections, it will be requested on a voluntary basis from the technicians of the most representative clubs to carry out the inspections, up to a maximum of 6 people. These inspectors may inspect EXCLUSIVELY cars not belonging to their own club.

6.3. The cars must be presented in the parc fermé without engine and tires, with the bodywork (without screws) separated from the chassis.

6.4. The schedule, or the request for delivery by the race director, for car delivery in the parc fermé must be MANDATORILY respected. Any delay in delivery will be penalized with a 10 LAPS penalty.

6.5. From the beginning and up to 15 minutes after the finish, the Technical Commission may carry out inspections at the request of a competitor or as decided ex officio by the Race Direction.

6.6. From the OK of the Technical Commission, the driver has a maximum of 10 minutes to reassemble and deliver the car. At the end of the time, if the driver has not delivered the car, they will incur a penalty of 1 LAP for each extra minute.

6.7. If the car is judged irregular by the race direction, the driver will have 10 minutes to replace the irregular components, complete the inspections, and deliver the model as required. At the end of the 10 minutes, the model will be assembled and/or inspected during the race, to the detriment of the driver.

6.8. The driver must take care to check the compliance of their own model before the technical inspections.

6.9. Drivers belonging to the Rookies ranking, having no experience, will be assisted in the technical inspections by the inspectors and/or other drivers, providing them with the necessary assistance to take part in the races with a box-stock and/or race-ready car. Furthermore, Rookies drivers will be exempt from what is specified in paragraphs 6.6 and 6.7.

7. Button regulations

7.1. Any type of button is allowed, whether it is from a manufacturer or handmade, as long as it does not supply an output voltage (Volt) greater than the input voltage.

7.2.
In order to ensure the correct and regular conduct of the race, a voltmeter will be installed in view next to each button panel. This can be checked at any time during the event by race management and by anyone participating in the event. The voltmeter will emit a high-pitched sound if the output voltage supplied by the button is greater than the input voltage.

7.3.
If the voltmeter signals an irregularity, the race management and the technical commission will check the button at the end of the current heat together with the driver, who is required to maintain the settings at the time of the signal.

7.4.
If the button is found to be irregular and/or the investigated driver has changed the button settings before the stewards' inspection, the investigated driver will be immediately DISQUALIFIED from the current race. If the driver is entered in both races, they may still take part in the next race with a compliant button.

8. Qualifying format

8.1.   The qualifying sessions will take place on a lane of a track decided on site by the Race Direction.

8.2. The calling order will be the reverse of the race number (from 24 to 1 for Gruppo C Slot.it, from 72 to 1 for GT3 NSR).

8.3. Each driver will have 4 timed laps available to set a valid time.

8.4. Below are the qualifying formats for the two races:
8.4.1.GRUPPO C SLOT.IT – All drivers of each team must record a valid time. The ranking will be determined by the sum of the best times of each team member.
8.4.2.GT3 NSR – Each driver must record a valid time. The ranking will be determined by the best times.

8.5.
Each driver must MANDATORILY act as track marshal for one rotation (6 shifts).

8.6. If point 8.5 is not respected, the driver will incur a penalty of 3 LAPS at the end of the race. In the team race, the penalty will be applied to each member of the team.

9. Race format - Group C Slot.it

4th TIME – track 2, lane 2
5th TIME – track 1, lane 3
etc.

9.2. The groups thus formed will compete in 1 race of 15 minutes per lane on each track.

9.3.
It is MANDATORY to change drivers at the end of the stint on each lane.

9.4. Each team must MANDATORILY have each driver cover a distance of 4 heats. Compliance with this paragraph will be checked by race management and may be sanctioned (see paragraph 11.8).

9.5.
The overall ranking will be based on the sum of the laps completed by the team on both tracks.

9.6.
In the event of a tie in laps, the tiebreaker for the position will be the gap in milliseconds at the finish line and, if this is also equal, the best absolute time of each team will be considered.

9.7.
During each individual heat of the race, each team must have one driver on the platform and one marshal. The third driver may act as a mechanic or as a replacement for the marshal if necessary

10. Race format - GT3 NSR

10.1. Based on the qualifying rankings, the drivers will be divided into heats in the following order:
1st TIME – track 1, lane 1
2nd TIME – track 2, lane 1
3rd TIME – track 1, lane 2
4th TIME – track 2, lane 2
5th TIME – track 1, lane 3
etc.
10.2. The groups thus formed will compete in 1 race of 4 minutes per lane on each track.
10.3. The overall ranking will be based on the sum of the laps completed by the driver on both tracks.
10.4. In the event of a tie in laps, the tiebreaker for the position will be the gap in milliseconds at the finish line and, if this is also equal, the best absolute time of each driver will be considered.
10.5. The top 6 in the overall ranking will compete in a Final, consisting of 3 minutes per lane on a single track (decided on site by the organizers). The top 6 positions will therefore be decided by the order of arrival in the Final, while drivers from 7th place down will be ranked according to the results of the overall ranking.

11. Sanctions

11.1. The penalties imposed by the Race Direction will be proportionate to the seriousness of the infractions of the technical and sporting regulations.
11.2. Use of magnets, liquids, and unauthorized products will be penalized with the DISQUALIFICATION of the driver. The same result applies in the case of repairs carried out outside the Race Direction Box table.
11.3. If intervention is made on the car not during the race, that is, during lane changes or when cars are stopped on the track, the driver and/or the team will incur a penalty of 10 LAPS.
11.4. Smoking inside the event structure will result in a 25 LAP penalty for the driver and/or the team of which they are a member.
